Who we are

This privacy policy explains how Dr. Pratiksha Gadkari (operating the Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation department at NHRCC, referred to in this policy as "we", "us", or "the clinic") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information.

The clinic is operated by Dr. Pratiksha Gadkari, a registered physiotherapist (M.P.T., Maharashtra State Council of Physiotherapy registered, Certified Mulligan Therapist), as a sole proprietor, under a sub-contract with NHRCC (Neurospine Hospital & Revive Critical Care). The clinic is located within the NHRCC building at Panchvati Tower, Pushpkunj Complex, Wardha Road, near Lokmat Square, Dhantoli, Nagpur 440012.

This policy covers information collected through this website (drpratikshagadkari.com), by phone, and during in-person care at the clinic.

Information we collect

Information you give us directly. Identity and contact details (full name, age, gender, phone number, email address, postal address). Appointment information (requested date, time, reason for consultation). Clinical information (medical history, current symptoms, ongoing treatments, medications, imaging or test reports you share with us, treatment goals). Payment information needed to process clinic billing — we do not store credit card or banking details on our servers.

Information collected automatically when you visit our website. Standard technical information your browser sends, such as IP address, browser type, operating system, referring page, pages visited, and timestamps. Cookies and tracking technologies — see the Cookies section below.

Clinical records. During consultation and treatment, clinical observations, assessment notes, and treatment plans are recorded in our patient-records system in line with applicable Indian medical practice standards.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to schedule and manage your appointments, deliver physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and follow-up care, maintain clinical records as required by Indian medical practice standards, communicate with you about your care (appointment reminders, follow-up calls, treatment guidance), process payments and issue invoices, respond to your queries submitted through the website or by phone, improve the website and our care experience, and meet legal, regulatory, or insurance-related obligations.

We do not use your health information for marketing purposes. We do not publish patient names, photographs, or identifiable medical details on our website or social media without your separate written consent. Marketing communications about general clinic news are only sent if you have opted in.

Cookies and website analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies for two purposes.

Essential cookies are required for the site to function (for example, to remember your form input as you navigate). These cannot be turned off.

Analytics and advertising measurement. We use Google Ads and Google Analytics to understand how patients reach our website (such as which search terms or ads led them here) and which pages they use most. These tools may set cookies in your browser that report aggregate, non-personally-identifying usage data to Google. We use this information to improve the website and to measure the performance of our advertising. We do not link this analytics data to your clinical records.

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some site functions.

How we protect your information

Clinical records are stored on access-controlled clinic devices, with access strictly limited to Dr. Pratiksha and authorised clinical or administrative staff involved in your care. Physical records, where maintained, are kept in locked cabinets within the clinic premises. Our website uses HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and our servers. Staff who handle patient information are trained on confidentiality and data-handling practices.

While we take reasonable measures, no method of electronic storage or transmission is fully secure. If we become aware of a data breach that affects you, we will notify you in line with applicable Indian data-protection law.

How long we keep your information

Clinical and medical records are retained for a minimum of three (3) years from the date of your last consultation, in line with applicable Indian medical practice guidelines. Some categories of records may be retained for longer where required by law (for example, records relating to legal proceedings or insurance claims). Website usage data and analytics are retained for up to twenty-six (26) months. Payment records are retained as required by Indian tax law. When information is no longer required, it is securely destroyed.

Sharing your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances. With your explicit written consent — for example, when referring you to a specialist physician, sharing reports with your treating doctor, or coordinating care with NHRCC for in-patients. With service providers who help us run the clinic and website (for example, our website hosting provider, our payment processor, and our analytics provider Google); these providers are contractually required to keep your information confidential. Where required by law, such as in response to a court order, regulatory request, or public-health requirement under Indian law.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and applicable medical-privacy guidelines in India, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information, request deletion of your information (subject to medical record-retention requirements under Indian law), withdraw consent to any marketing communications, and lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India if you believe your rights have been violated.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below. We will respond within thirty (30) days.

Children's privacy

We provide physiotherapy care to paediatric patients. When a patient is under 18 years of age, their parent or legal guardian provides consent on their behalf, and all rights described above are exercised by the parent or guardian.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes in regulations or in how we deliver care. The current version is always available on this page, and the "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any change. Material changes will be communicated to active patients directly.
